BIG started this split with three wins in a row. After defeating GamerLegion and PENTA 1860 in week one and Wave Esports in week two, BIG lost to SK Gaming Prime at the end of week two. Week three started with a win against Schalke 04, but UoL SE defeated BIG at the end of the week. The boys will meet MOUZ and Eintracht Spandau this week, who will be quite difficult to beat.
Berlin International Gaming has been playing in this league since 2018. Still, in the first season, the German organization only looked at the scene, finishing 3-4 in the main league and 5-8 in other tournaments. But in 2019, BIG had complete dominance, where they took all the top spots in the spring split but only placed 5-8 at the EU Masters. When it came time for the summer split, BIG, although they finished 2nd in the Prime League, was only interested in the EU Masters. And here, from the Play-in stage, they reached the final, where they beat Vodafone Giants 3-1 on the maps, thus winning the 2019 EU Masters Summer Split. After such a triumph, there was a setback in 2020. The Prime League was 5-7, and the EU Masters was never discussed. In 2021, it became clear that last year was just a slump in the line-up. The first places in all Prime League splits gave good chances in the EU Masters. However, 5-8 and 3-4 places were the maximum. At the end of the season, 4th place in the Winter Cup was also sent BIG to rest until the next season.
Only Keduii was left from the old line-up for the spring split, who has shown a consistently good game on the bot laner. The split itself was quite successful. The squad was in 6th place in the general standings, allowing them to make the playoffs. The playoffs themselves went very well. Having beaten MOUZ 3-0 in the first round, the boys were getting ready to face UoL SE in a battle for a slot at EU Masters but lost that meeting 3-0 on maps. It was decided to change only one player for the summer season.
MOUZ: Only second place
This split started quite well for MOUZ. In a tense battle, the boys could pick up their first win against E WIE EINFACH, and, the next day, defeated GamerLegion, going 2-0, after the first game week. The second week also started well. After defeating PENTA 1860, MOUZ went 3-0, but Wave Esports were able to stop their hunger at the end of the week. In the third week, the boys completely failed. After losing to SK Gaming Prime and Schalke 04, the boys went from 3-0 to 3-3. This week MOUZ will face BIG and Unicorns of Love SE, who can compete with the boys.
MOUZ was formed in 2012 and started to take an active part in the European Championships. The results were not very good, so the League of Legends project was frozen until 2018 when the German Championship appeared. That's when MOUZ took on new colors. Stable Top 3s in the Prime League have followed the organization since then, but in the EU Masters, the organization did not rise above 3rd-4th place. This season, MOUZ replaced the entire squad, taking on some pretty strong players.
BOSS is a Russian top laner who spent his whole career in the CIS league for Vega Squadron and Unicorns Of Love, but on the world stage, he has only taken 7th place with the team.
Amazing is a German jungler who has played in many well-known organizations and coached for years.
Nomanz is a Russian mid laner who used to play in the CIS league with BOSS but also failed to show his worth on the world stage.
Practice is a German bot laner who has been playing in various European leagues for a long time, including Prime League.
Saviour is a Russian support player who has played in several European and CIS leagues during his career.
