Michael Warburton and Robert Owen: All Set To Compete in Modus Live League 2022

Following on from last year's Icons of Darts Live League, Modus has announced a fresh new round-robin event for 2022. The Modus Live League will feature a slew of great players participating in weekly group stage formats in a safe behind-closed-doors environment.

Each week, two groups of six competitors will compete to advance to the final group before announcing an overall weekly champion. All matches will be played over the best of seven legs.

Michael Warburton – A Name To Remember

Michael Warburton has been a frequent participant in events in recent years. He has won four championships in the BDO and WDF Ranking, including the 2018 Welsh Open Men, the 2019 Irish Open Men, the Irish Classic Men, and the 2020 Isle of Man Open Men. He had gloried in the Online Live league the previous year. His most recent victories were 4-3 against Keelan Kay, 4-0 over Brian Raman, and 4-0 over Nick Fulwell. Because the player has just won, he is more likely to be confident and competitive in the forthcoming encounter. Michael will take every opportunity to make a good impression.

Robert Owen – A Strong Player This Season

Robert Owen, a Welsh darts player, has been a member of the PDC since 2014. Owen advanced to the quarterfinals of the Dutch Darts Masters in 2017 when he was defeated 6-5 by Michael Smith. In the 2017 Players Championship Finals, the player was beaten 6-2 by Rob Cross. Robert defeated Michael Burgoine, Jamie Lewis, Nathan Rafferty, Ian White, and John Part on his way to the semifinals of the 2018 UK Open when he was replaced by Corey Cadby. Owens defeated Scott Walters 4-3 and Matthew Campbell 4-3 in the Modus Darts Online Live League 2021. He has been a part of several incredible games, and his triumphs have given him confidence for the forthcoming contest.
