Playing in their second game of the season Rajasthan Royals will welcome Punjab Kings in the seventh game of the season at Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati, Assam on 5th April. Both teams have started the season with a win and will be looking to continue the momentum. Who will win this game?

Rajasthan was on top of the game in all departments in their first match of the season. The team posted 203 runs while batting in the first game and won the game by 72 runs. This boosted their net run rate which can help them later in the tournament. All three top-order batsmen Buttler, Jaiswal and Samson scored half-centuries. The team was good with the ball also and restricted Hyderabad to 131 runs. The fifth bowler was the issue with Rajasthan in that game with impact player Saini going for plenty. Yuzvendra Chahal and Ashwin provided mastery with the ball. The team will look to replicate the same in the second game.

The game was cut short by rain but Punjab emerged victorious according to the DLS method. Sam Curran struggled with the bowling and conceded lots of runs. he would want to improve on that figure given he is the most expensive purchase of the 2023 auction. Punjab needs to keep doing the right things to get themselves a win.
