Chennai Super Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants Predictions: The teams have had a very different first games

Playing in their second game of the season Chennai Super Kings will welcome Lucknow Super Giants in the sixth game of the season at MA Chidambaram Stadium on 3rd April. The teams have had very contrasting first games and will look to iron out a few things in this one. Who will win this game?

CSK had a lot of hopes after going through an overhaul in their squad but they faced defeat in their opening game of the season. Chennai batsmen did not look settled and were getting out cheaply. Only Rituraj Gaikwad was in the shining spot and scored a lot of runs for the team. CSK will expect him to be consistent at the top of the order and given his form. The bowling also looked weak and incoherent which the management needs to think about. Rajvardhan Hangargekar took three wickets but needs more support from his teammates. CSK will look to bounce back and get their first win of the tournament.

Lucknow has started yet another season with a victory. Despite KL Rahul getting out early the team was able to pose a big score. His opening partner Kyle Mayers scored 73 runs off 38 balls to lay a good foundation before Nicholas Pooran came to take charge. Mark Wood came to the party with the ball taking five wickets for 14 runs. There was a team performance which got them over the line. LSG will be looking for a similar performance going into the second game of the season.
