England vs South Africa Prediction: England to win the first game of the series

With the One Day Internationals done and dusted and neither got the result they wanted in the last game, the team's focus will shift towards the shortest format of the game, the T20s where they will be playing against each other in three game series. Will England make a positive start in the first game or will the trend continue and South Africa will pitch in with a victory.

England

England is having a tough summer so far with performances that have been subpar for the ODI champions. The Englishmen were able to bounce back from the first game defeat and were able to level up the series 1-1 to have a series showdown in Headingley Carnegie which got washed due to rain. The teams for the T20 look a different side altogether with Root and Strokes, not in the squad. England will be aiming to win the first tournament at their home this summer against South Africa.

In the third and final game, they managed to score 159 runs and were impressive before rain put a stop to the match. Kagiso Rabada is back in the squad and it will be a major boost for the side. South Africa has performed relatively well in the recent past and will look to continue that momentum in this series.
