Regular season. Round 25.

The Star has been playing the productive teams lately, with only overtime games. It's been playing them a lot. Zalgiris can only dream of overtime, and they still score the least in regulation time in the Euroleague. If there are no surprises, the total over is impossible.

Belgrade has won eight home games, but they've also lost four. The last time they lost to Fener was 91-96 on January 15. Since then, the Star has never scored more than 77 points in regulation time in any of their other games. And this is the Euroleague we're talking about, of course. In other tournaments, Spheropoulos' team is way more likely to not score than the other way around.
Zalgiris
The Lithuanians have lost their last three away games. Not only that, but all of those defeats were by double-digit margins, and even to the Israelis, who usually concede a million to the sky, Zalgiris only scored 78 points.
On the road, Trinchieri's guys are averaging 79 ppg, while conceding just under 82. Who's scored at least 79 points against the Star at Belgrade Arena? After Fener, no one.
And let's not forget Lonnie Walker, who averaged 13.5 points per game, is already in Philadelphia. So, we shouldn't expect higher efficiency from either the home team or the visitors. Zalgiris doesn't score much, and Zvezda is averaging 77 points per game.
I'd say the total for this game probably won't reach 160 points. But in the first round in Kaunas, the teams scored 170, which, I'll admit, surprised me.

Belgrade's been doing well lately, but they don't score a ton and don't always crush their opponents. They usually win low-scoring games. We’ll try to take advantage of that.
