The NBA carnival is dancing into the final phase of the Regular Season and almost 90% of the Regular slate is behind us. This only paves way for much more fireworks as we move into the Postseason period which contains both the Play-in tournament and the Playoffs. Thus, each game becomes much more important for aspirants that will like to up their ranking. In this important game, the Sacramento Kings are going to take on the Phoenix Suns.

The Kings enter the game after losing 109:132 against the Celtics as the team lost a back-to-back night affair against a rather top-quality opponent. The Kings have lost two in a row after they had not lost two in a row since the first week of February. Sacramento has had its best season after more than 15 years and has captured 43 wins and 29 losses. Their two-game losing streak has stifled their route toward the second spot in the West. However, unless they break down completely, there is no stopping them from taking the third spot. This makes them a candidate for making a Conference Finals run but there is a long way to go.
Phoenix Suns
The Suns come into the game after losing 111:122 against the Lakers despite a 33 points outburst by Devin Booker. The free-throw disparity was a matter of controversy and coach Monty Williams criticized the referees(the Lakers had 46 attempts from the line compared to 20 by the Suns). At any rate, the Suns are having an abysmal season and they have lost five of their last six games. They have 38 wins and 34 losses which is a big downturn compared to last season when they won 62 games. The team acquired Kevin Durant during the trade deadline and he may return just before the Postseason. Till then, it again all up to Devin Booker who has been red-hot.
Injuries
- Kings: QUESTIONABLE: Kevin Huerter;
- Suns: OUT: Deandre Ayton, Kevin Durant.
Expert Betting Tips
The Kings are an offensive juggernaut and even though De’Aaron Fox leads their scoring effort, they aren’t just dependent upon him and their scoring balance is admirable. The same can’t be said about the Suns as only Devin Booker is their major bucket-getter since the injury to Kevin Durant. The defense of Phoenix is nowhere close to what it was last season and that’s why I favor the Kings here. I predict a scoreline of 125:120 in their favor.
