NBA midseason is fastly getting past us and before we could even blink, we are into the third week of January. In the NBA world, time goes even faster and despite a long schedule where each team plays 82 games, the Playoffs arrive in no time. And here we have two teams that are headed to the Playoffs as Sacramento Kings takes on the Philadelphia 76ers in a cross-Conference set-up.

The Kings enter the game after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder as rookie Keegan Murray chipped in with 29 points while Domantas Sabonis had another triple-double. The Kings look deep this season and are no longer reliant on just De’Aaron Fox to produce top-scoring nights. Different players have led the scoring and with the way they are scoring, the Kings have established themselves as one of the best offenses. They have won six in a row and due to that, they have an amazing record of 26 wins and 18 losses. The Kings won just 30 and lost 52 games last season but this season, they are most likely heading over the 40 wins.
Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers come into the game after defeating the Trail Blazers 105:95 on the back of an incredible 32 points night by Joel Embiid. They have now won four straight and have nine wins in 11 games. Their defense has been solid and with Harden and Embiid combining for quality Pick and Roll sets, the returns have been awesome for the team. With 29 wins and 16 losses, they have emerged as one of the title favorites, and having complementary players like Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris has bolstered their lineup. They have a rather inconsistent bench but players like Melton and Milton have had their fair share of contributions.
Expert Betting Tips
The Kings played last night but it was at home and a win only increases the confidence. However, the 76ers are beating teams left and right, and their road record keeps getting better. However, James Harden’s questionable designation can make things tricky for the 76ers but the Kings’ hands will be full against Joel who can change the pace of the game. The 76ers like a much slower pace than the Kings which like to run a lot but they have a beautiful half-court game too with superb isolation depth. This is a tricky one to predict but the 76ers are going to be favored a bit. However, I side with the Kings and predict a scoreline of 120:114 in their favor.
