The NBA knockout punch in the form of the Play-in tournament isn’t far away and the Regular Season has already started delivering these punches. This is high time for squads that want to enter either the Play-in tournament or capture a top-six seat for the automatic qualification to the First Round. In this game, one such team the Minnesota Timberwolves will take on the high-scoring Sacramento Kings.

The Kings come into this game after defeating the Jazz 121:113 as Kevin Huerter slipped in 27 points. Sacramento has now won two in a row and five of their last seven games, a window that has repeated for the team throughout the season. The Kings have acquired 45 wins and 29 losses which puts them in a solid mode to capture the third standing in the West. They are no longer dependent on just De’Aaron Fox and the sharp-shooting of Kevin Huerter, the amazing all-around play of Domantas Sabonis, and the effective Wing duo of Harrison Barnes and Keegan Murray. However, on the flip side, the team will need to be more assertive on the defensive end.
Minnesota Timberwolves
The Timberwolves enter the game after defeating the Warriors 99:96 on the back of a superb 23 points performance by Naz Reid. The Wolves have won three games in a row after a lean period when they lost five out of six games. The Wolves remain in contention for the Play-in tournament and have a great chance of nabbing a top-six spot for automatic qualification. The return of their top-notch big Karl Anthony-Towns helps matters and he made the winning bucket against the Warriors. Anthony Edwards has been in top form and the role players have repeatedly stepped with Jaden McDaniels forming the backbone of an improved defense.

Expert Betting Tips
Will the Wolves risk playing Karl Anthony-Towns in a back-to-back game after a hard-fought battle in the last game? The situation does demand his presence as the Wolves look to push for the top-six rank in the Conference. The Kings need not worry about such scenarios and are sitting comfortably in the third spot but they will like to carry on the winning trend at home even if Fox misses out again. Anyway, I back the Kings to win this and predict a scoreline of 120:111 in their favor.
