The NBA Regular Season is on and this has been another fascinating window as we hurl toward the Midseason window. There can be a bunch of trades soon whereas fatigue and injuries are going to seep in as well. In this Regular Season game of the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Thunder enters the game after losing 110:112 to the Timberwolves despite a 35 points performance by Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Thunder has now lost five in a row despite Shai scoring in excess of 22 points and as much as 42 points in a game during that window. The last two losses have been by two points so the team has collapsed late in the game. Shai continues to be the only dependable scorer and the team lacks a sustainable second/third option. Dort and Giddey aren’t prolific scorers thus far whereas the rest of the unit is hit-and-miss for the most part. The defense has slowed down compared to last season and the Thunder has now sunk to 18 losses and just has 11 wins.
Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies completely demolished the elite Bucks and won 142:101 as Ja Morant had a 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in another strong effort. His triple-double decimated the Giannis-led Bucks and the Grizzlies hauled in their seventh win in a row, most of them being big margins. The interesting part is that Memphis is doing all this without their second-highest scorer Desmond Bane and even won without their leading scorer Ja Morant. They have one of the deepest Guard rotations and since Jaren Jackson has entered, the defense has looked imposing. Dillon Brooks is back in the groove and overall, the Grizzlies are loaded from top to bottom.
Expert Betting Tips
The Thunder played last night and they had to burn their bodies till deep in the game so there can be considerable fatigue. There couldn’t be a worse time to face a squad like the Grizzlies that is on the mission and has shot up to the top of the West, capitalizing upon the gains made last season. The Thunder doesn’t even have 10% of the Grizzlies’ depth and they can be overwhelmed here. I predict a 124:106 win in the favor of the Grizzlies.
