New York Knicks

The team had a super-successful stretch, winning eight straight. The Knicks, forced to play without the injured Jalen Brunson and R.J. Barrett, handily beat Houston (108:88) on the road. Overall, New York is now 19-18. The team ranks seventh in the Eastern Conference standings but is just one win away from a direct playoff spot.

Phoenix Suns

The Suns, who still can't count on the injured Devin Booker, have been in trouble of late. New York will be the team's fifth straight road game, and Phoenix won only one of its first four - against Memphis (125:108). In addition, the Suns lost in overtime to Denver (125:128 (113:113) and failed to Washington (102:127) and Toronto (104:111) during that stretch. Phoenix is 20-17 and seventh in the Western Conference standings.

Phoenix, without Devin Booker, is very weak offensively. For example, in the previous two games, the Suns had scored just 102 against Washington and only 104 against Toronto. The Suns will likely face one of the best defenses in the league, the New York Knicks. They could even win, though, given that New York could have trouble playing offense without Barrett and Brunson.
