Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves head into this game after losing 110:113 to Miami Heat despite a 29 points performance by Anthony Edwards. This was their third straight loss and they have now lost six out of their nine games. After being one of the best offensive teams last season, the Wolves have lost their way this season and are staring at a tough season where they may be out after the Play-in tournament. In absence of Anthony-Towns, Edwards has been the leading scorer and has accumulated at least 27 points in four of the last five games. D’Angelo Russell is having a rather turbulent season whereas the rest of the unit is missing Malik Beasley a lot who was a sparkplug last season

The Pelicans have done a great job of winning at home and with Zion most likely available to play here, their chances will once again be huge to add another win. The Timberwolves have been struggling on both ends but with Edwards’ play at a huge level, they can stage a big performance.
