The NBA is on and this is a window where we can witness a bunch of trades inching close to the Playoffs race. Teams can either perform trades to improve their roster or hoard picks and young players to build in long term. Phoenix Suns may be in for making big trades and they will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves come into this game after losing 118:135 against the Pistons despite a 20 points performance by Anthony Edwards. Minnesota was on a four-game winning streak before that loss. Edwards has been leading the scoring way in the absence of Karl Anthony-Towns whereas D’Angelo Russell has averaged around 20 points a game after a slow start. Rudy Gobert has done his job as a rebounder, a help defender, and an inside scorer, but there is a decent ground to cover on defense despite his presence. The Wolves have won 20 and lost 22 games and without Karl Anthony-Towns, they will need more from the bench.
Phoenix Suns
The Suns enter the game after suffering a 97:126 loss against the Nuggets in another disappointing offensive performance. The Suns have now lost seven of their last eight games and in an extended window, they have lost 15 out of the last 21 games and that has mostly occurred in absence of Devin Booker who was red-hot from the field before his recurring hamstring injury. The Suns have now been reduced to 22 losses and 21 wins after they had lost just 18 games last season. The duo of Bridges and Ayton has done the job but it has not been the winning duo as expected so there are question marks around the current core.
Expert Betting Tips
The Suns have been struggling in all spheres lately and even getting to 100 points has become an undoable task for them. The Wolves have been a high-scoring team but defensively, they can allow a ton of open looks. In terms of the recent form, Minnesota has done much better and they will be looking to keep going. I predict a scoreline of 119:109 scoreline in Minnesota’s favor.
