The current window is an important one where each game holds a ton of value and a winning or losing streak can create a whole lot of difference. Anyway, in this NBA Regular Season game, the Minnesota Timberwolves are going to take on the Atlanta Hawks.

This was an unprecedented win against a loaded squad and the team had lost three in a row prior to that. In an extended window, they have lost five out of their last seven matches. The Wolves are still in the Play-in picture but the injury to Anthony Edwards has come at the worst time and has impacted their play negatively on both ends. However, there is some encouraging news, both Karl Anthony-Towns and Anthony Edwards are returning soon, and maybe this game itself. Can this be the game that transforms the Wolves’ fortunes?

Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks enter the affair after defeating the Pistons 129:107 as Trae Young piled up 30 points and 12 assists. The Hawks have lost three out of their last five games and this is the story of the season. Atlanta has been unable to find the momentum that thrusts towards the 55% win and overall, they have 36 wins and 36 losses. They are virtually out of the top-six standings race at this point and a Play-in berth is the best result for them. They are likely to end up at the eighth spot but one thing is clear, they don’t look like a team that can affect a deep Playoffs run and has a lot of work to do. The long-range shooting hasn’t been on for many parts and the backcourt of Murray and Young hasn’t brought the desired results.
