The NBA Regular Season is in its crunch-time mode and this is a crucial window where teams look to up their rankings in the quest for Playoffs success. For teams that are on the peripheries, a losing streak can prove to be poisonous and derail their season. In this game, one of those teams, the Los Angeles Clippers take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Clippers slips into the game after another close loss, losing 127:128 against the Kings despite a 27 points and 10 assists performance by Russell Westbrook. They have lost five in a row, all losses coinciding with Westbrook’s acquisition. Because of the ongoing lean window, the Clippers have been lodged to 50% win with 33 wins and 33 losses, slipping from fourth to eighth position. It means that the team has gone out from the First Round of automatic qualification to the Play-in scene. They need to address their issues soon because things have gotten out of hand for the duo of George and Leonard.
Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies come into this contest after losing 97:113 against the Nuggets despite a 27 points and 10 assists performance by Ja Morant. This broke a three-game winning streak. Since the injury to Steven Adams, the Grizzlies’ fortuntes have turned. They were unstoppable till the midseason with 31 wins and 13 losses, but since then, they have stacked up 11 losses in 18 games. However, their record of 38 wins and 24 losses, gives them the second position, however, the Kings are knocking on the door. The Grizzlies are a title contender and will need to up their game further. Ja Morant’s off-the-court antics has put the team in jeopardy too.
Expert Betting Tips
The whole saga of Morant showcasing a gun on Insta reel has got him suspended for the next two games, and is a bad look for the team. This doesn’t mean that the Memphis will falter without him, they have won more than 60% of their games in his absence, thanks to their amazing depth, unearthed when Tyus Jones starts. Anyway, I’d still back the Clippers here and predict a scoreline of 122:117 in their favor.
