What a season we have had and it is coming to a close with the Playoffs beginning soon. Before the Postseason, ten teams will kiss the season goodbye whereas four others will be bidding farewell after the Play-in spot. Then the number of teams will reduce by double with each round and we will finally reach the Finals. Before that, some teams are just scrapping to get a place in the Play-in tournament. One of those teams, the Chicago Bulls is going to take on the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers enter the game after a shocking 110:131 loss against the Pelicans despite having Kawhi Leonard. They have lost three of their last five games after a four-game winning streak, which sums up their season. A winning streak has usually been followed by a lean run. They have 39 wins and 36 losses and despite remaining in contention for the top-six spots, their chances of a first-round exit look high. Paul George’s injury has complicated matters and if he is out in the Playoffs, the chances for the depthless Clippers offense look low.
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls come into the affair after defeating an amped-up Lakers 118:108 to spoil the return of LeBron James. Zach LaVine nabbed 32 points and he has had multiple 30+ points nights in the second half of the season. Chicago has had a tough season and has been under 50% win for most parts, however, lately, they have been turning it on and have emerged victorious in seven of the nine games. They have 36 wins and 38 losses and have solidified their position as a Play-in squad. Chicago has been propelled by two brilliant scorers Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan but they will have their work cut out during the Play-in tournament.
Injuries
- Bulls: OUT: Lonzo Ball, JaVonte Green. Game-Time Decision: Alex Caruso;
- Clippers: OUT: Norman Powell, Paul George, Brandon Boston Jr. PROBABLE: Kawhi Leonard.
Expert Betting Tips
The Clippers have been playing some haphazard basketball and without George, they don’t look like a Playoffs team, not being able to sustain on either end. The Bulls have been playing some handsome basketball and have held their own even in close games, something that was missing earlier this season. However, these two will play back-to-back affairs and even a vulnerable Clippers can take advantage. I expect the Clippers to win and predict a scoreline of 122:113 in their favor.
