The NBA season is on and already, we have seen the season take the see-saw route. The Bucks began with a nine-game winning streak but have now been reduced to four losses and 11 wins, which is by no means an average record, but still, you can see that the top dwellers see their prospects change in a quick fashion. So you never know which team rises and falls at what rate, although if Giannis si healthy, the Bucks will likely spring back into their winning ways. But what about the flailing LA Lakers as they take on the San Antonio Spurs?

The Lakers run into the Spurs after defeating the Pistons 128:121 as Anthony Davis nabbed 38 points. They have won two in a row for just the second time in the season and this is a wonderful opportunity to make it three in a row. The Lakers’ season has been a travesty thus far, as they have won just four out of 14 games and are in dire straits. The last two victories have been welcoming but they have set themselves so much back that there is a lot of catching up to do at this point. Will the Lakers correct the course or will they keep losing their way?
Well, Anthony Davis can’t be blamed for their woes for sure. He has been one of the best defenders and the last two wins are a direct result of his iron efforts. Russell Westbrook has shot 35% or lower in the last three games but has dished 12, 12, 11 assists in those games. Turnovers continue to be an issue for them. Lonnie Walker IV has been in great touch and his athleticism and overall scoring help matters. LeBron is likely to return soon but let us see if he is able to carry the Lakers to a big winning streak because they need it badly.
San Antonio Spurs: Losing their way each game
The Spurs march into this game after losing 97:119 to the Clippers despite a 20 points performance by Jakob Poeltl. That loss marked a four-game losing streak and they have now lost nine of their last ten games. This came after the team has begun in a riveting fashion, winning five out of their seven games. Things are looking murky for the Spurs which have looked like a lottery team. This was expected from the Spurs, a team that has a bunch of rookies, and sophomores alongside three-four-year talent.
Perhaps the plan is to develop Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell into star-level players and either build around them or get someone superstar-level in exchange for them. Jakob Poeltl may not be a long-term option while Jeremy Sochan has shown a big promise as a two-way wing. Tre Jones has shown that he can develop into a fantastic scoring and playmaking option. Overall, the Spurs are a project that has a long way to and as long as Greg Popovich is there, the youngsters are going to at least pick up strong playmaking habits.

Expert Betting Tips
The Lakers have hit a great sense right now which is a rare case. The Spurs have been reeling as of now and their condition couldn’t have been worse. The team also doesn’t seem to have anyone who can keep Davis in check as Poeltl can’t keep up with his speed and athleticism, only providing help defense with his size. The Spurs offense has been way too underwhelming and they need to sort out their issues.
But the Lakers are always letting the fanbase down when they are expected to deliver and you never know which sort of opponent gets the best of them. I believe the Lakers will continue their winning train and expect Davis to go for another big night. I see the Lakers winning this affair and the total points range to be in 230-240. I see the scoreline of 124:112 in favor of the Spurs.
