Betting during the last day of the season can be trickier than most days because many teams will rest their main players, and all sorts of combinations will be at play. In this game, the LA Clippers will host the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Clippers are preparing for their Play-in game versus the Timberwolves while the Thunder’s season was doomed from the start.

Clippers resting George, Powell, and Morris
The Clippers will be resting their three key players for the game in the build-up to the Play-in game versus the Timberwolves and with George’s return, they have a huge chance of pulling away with a win. We have seen Reggie Jackson lift his game during the Postseason while the Forward depth and the guard depth both look promising. Had George and Powell been active before, we could have seen the Clippers win around 45-50 games as the roster looks deep and more motivated on defense with their comeback.
The Thunder’s rebuild
Meanwhile, the Thunder will focus their energy on the rebuild next season to build around Shai, Giddey, and Dort. Jaylen Hoard has done a great job as a rebounder and scorer and is making a case for some sort of role for any team. Tre Mann as a rookie will be looking to expand his perimeter game and passing. The Thunder showed promise as a defensive squad in the first half of the season but was among the worst shooting teams, that is one area they will need to address for next season.

Expert Betting Tips
Points Range: Even though the Clippers will be resting two of their major scorers, the unit of Jackson, Mann, Covington, Zubac, Hartenstein, Kennard, and Coffey have built decent chemistry over the season and will have an edge over the highly inexperienced Thunder that lacks shot creators and even if Jaylen Hoard has been ballin’ out there, the team doesn't have the shooting depth. Defensively too, the Clippers have an edge here. I believe the total points range here is 210-220.
Prediction: The last day of the betting scenario can bring some weird results as some teams have decided to rest all of their starters, as many of the cases have been solidified already. Still, if Zubac, Jackson, Mann, Covington, Batum, and Hartenstein are active here, the Clippers will have an edge here. I believe the Clippers will win 120:98 here.
