By the start of the season, Indiana had traded away nearly all of its former leaders, and now there is only one question: Did the team go into a rebuild? The Pacers' results went down, but they are still in the play-in zone, even though few predicted that scenario before the start of the regular season.
Most recently, the Indianapolis club beat Golden State. Brooklyn was without seven key players, and Indiana didn't take advantage of the situation and still lost 133:136. Halliburton made seven three-pointers and scored 35 points on 12 of 15 from the field. In addition to Tyrese, six Pacers players scored at least 12 points: Bennedict Mathurin, Jaylen Smith, Aaron Nesmith, Miles Turner, Buddy Hield, and Oshay Brissett. Indiana missed a lot from the paint, and Turner only made one block.
Miami Heat
The Heat still can't get going and are only 10th in the East with three losses in their last four games. With Jimmy Butler and Victor Oladipo recovering from injuries and Tyler Hierro returning earlier, it seemed like things should be looking up for Miami. One of the contenders for the conference finals managed to lose to two of the league's underdogs, Detroit and San Antonio. Butler had an outstanding game against the Spurs with a 111:115 score though he shot 11 of 16 times from the field.
Expert Betting Tips
That's not to say that the Heat had a poor defense against San Antonio, but they still allowed 115 points. Indiana should feel the contrast compared to the last game, as it will be much more complicated. Since Rick Carlisle's team couldn't handle Brooklyn's backups, defeating the Heat in the upcoming game doesn't look logical.
