The NBA caravan is steadily heading toward the postseason and this will be a phase where losing streaks will be perilous and there will be no second chances. The habits picked up during the Regular Season are on full display during the Playoffs and that is why the Regular Season holds a lot of value. In another crucial game of the Regular Season, the Golden State Warriors are going to take on the Phoenix Suns.

The Warriors come into this game after defeating the Bucks 125:116 in the Overtime as Stephen Curry got hot in the crunch time and overcame a slow start to post an impressive 36 points outing. This win broke a three-game losing streak for the team and of course, those losses came away from home where the Warriors have less than 22% wins. At home, they have flipped the script and have won more than 75% of their games.
Because of the combination of these forms of records, the Warriors have registered 35 wins and 33 losses, barely hanging on to the precious sixth position in the West which gets them in the first round without having to play the Play-in tournament. Will they be able to hold on to that spot? At any rate, they seem to heading into the Playoffs without the home-court advantage for the series which could be perilous.
Phoenix Suns
The Suns enter the affair after losing 119:128 against the Sacramento Kings despite a 28 points outing by Devin Booker. The loss came at their home floor and this loss set them back considerably behind the high-scoring Kings. Since the full unit has returned and Devin Booker has recovered, the Suns have stalled their losing runs and somehow managed 37 wins and 30 losses, comfortably in the top-six rankings.
Still, this is rather an underwhelming record for the team that had the best record in the league last season. Devin Booker’s midseason injury derailed their effort and they are not as venomous on the defense as they used to be. The team brought in Kevin Durant during the midseason trade but his injury has put the Suns in a big trial. Will KD be available during the Playoffs? That is the biggest question.
Injuries
- Warriors: OUT: Ryan Rollins, Gary Payton, Andrew Wiggins. PROBABLE: Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala. QUESTIONABLE: Jonathan Kuminga;
- Suns: OUT: Landry Shamet, Kevin Durant.

Expert Betting Tips
The Warriors are stellar at home whereas the Suns are on a three-game winning streak away from home. This game is all about the duel between Booker and Curry and it won’t be a surprise if they combine for as high as 60+. This can be a close battle but I favor the Warriors since they are at home. I predict a scoreline of 122:115 in the Warriors’ favor.
