The NBA tale is heading into the final stages and this has been an amazing season considering how many records have been broken. But in the end, it is all about the title and the Playoffs. The Postseason play is not that far away and each game now holds even more value than before. In an important game here, the Golden State Warriors are going to take on the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Warriors enter the game after defeating the Clippers 115:91 to complete a remarkable come-from-behind victory, thanks to a 34 points performance by Jordan Poole. This was the fourth straight win for Golden State which has helped overcome six losses and three wins period. The Warriors have done a great job lately but again, this has mostly come at home where they have an impressive 26 wins and seven losses record there, however, away from home, they have an abysmal 23 losses and seven wins record. Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson form an impressive sharp-shooting duo that has helped overcome the absence of Stephen Curry.
New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans breathed a sigh of relief after defeating the Trail Blazers 121:110 as Brandon Ingram erupted for 40 points. The Pelicans broke a four-game losing streak through this win, and this has been a season that has gone off the rails after a highly impressive start. They have lost 20 of their last 27 games, mostly in absence of Zion Williamson. Because of this prolonged lean window, the Pels have been reduced to 32 losses and 31 wins. Brandon Ingram has done his job well but CJ McCollum has been unable to be as reliable scoring-wise as he was during his Portland days. Not having a sustainable Point Guard is hurting the Pels now.
Injuries
- Warriors: OUT: Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala, Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II, Ryan Rollins;
- Pelicans: OUT: Zion Williamson, Jose Alvarado, Larry Nance. DOUBTFUL: Jonas Valanciunas.
Expert Betting Tips
The Warriors played last night and that can mean exhaustion but at their home floor, it is difficult to rule them out. The Pels are running out of time to make a winning run and they need to win games like these to stay afloat. The key will be containing Ingram for the Warriors whereas for the Pels, taking care of the Warriors’ backcourt without Jose Alvarado is going to be a painstaking task. I see the Warriors winning another game and predict a scoreline of 123:116.
