Golden State Warriors vs Boston Celtics Prediction: The Warriors strong at home but the Celtics can penetrate the fort

NBA season is on and this has been a fascinating passage of play as we head deeper into the season. The twists and turns throughout the season have been an interesting prospect and the scene has only heated up more with each turn. To add to the arsenal of the NBA games, the Golden State Warriors are going to take on the Boston Celtics.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors come into this game after losing 123:124 against the Jazz despite a 36 points performance by Jordan Poole. Jazz’s Simone Fontecchio made a late dunk to take the game away but the Warriors did well considering they were missing their three main players Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green. The Warriors have lost two in a row including a shocking loss against the Pacers at home as they were buried by rookie AJ Nembhard.

The Warriors have won 11 out of their 13 games at home and this is not a surprise. However, they have 13 wins and 13 losses, which is an underwhelming return for a team that just won the championship. Curry has done his job as a scorer whereas Wiggins has done his job too. Green remains the defensive enforcer but Poole and Thompson need to step it up. The bench has been abysmal but Jonathan Kuminga has showcased promising signs. Rebounding, turnovers, and some sloppy defense have been their issues but there is a long season ahead to correct the course.

Boston Celtics

The Celtics’ amazing winning trail continued against the Suns as they ravaged them 125:98 in a game where they led by more than 40 at one point. They have won eight out of their nine games away from home and have an outstanding record with 21 wins and five losses. They have the best record in the league and they have responded fantastically after reaching the Finals last season. Truly, the Celtics have emerged as the early favorites for the title but there is a long way to go.

Like the Warriors, the Celtics' current core has a long experience of playing together. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Al Horford, and Grant Williams are all amazing two-way players and have played together for many years now. The Celtics have done all this winning without their other terrific two-way threat Robert Williams and thus, they have developed incredible team chemistry. Malcolm Brogdon, Derrick White, Sam Hauser, and Luke Kornet have given tremendous support and things look prosperous in the Celtics' land.
