The Cavaliers are spending the second half of the season as one of the strongest teams in the league. The current second place in the Eastern Conference is far from a coincidence. If you take a stretch of the last 20 games, Cleveland has only two defeats. No other NBA team has shown such high efficiency at this stage.
Among the individual performers on Cleveland's roster is Donovan Mitchell, who missed part of the championship, but has played 44 games and is averaging 28.4 points per game and 1.9 steals. Two Cavs big men - Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley - are scoring more than 10 rebounds and 15 points per game. Darius Garland, who is averaging 5.9 assists in 29 games, is expected to return from injury.
Orlando Magic
Magic is still like Cleveland, but they don't reach the status of a contender. Orlando is currently seventh in the East with a 30-25 record and 0.5 wins behind the top six.
Like the Cavs, the Magic have a great defence. Jalen Suggs has almost 1.5 steals per game; Gogi Bitadze and Jonathan Isaac have more than one blocked shot per game. Two Orlando players are scoring more than 20 points - Paolo Banquero (23.0) and Franz Wagner (21.1).
Expert Betting Tips
Orlando is a solid team, but still too young. The lack of experience affects the Magic's road games in particular, where they go 12-17. The Cleveland is literally on fire in the second half of the regular season, being arguably the best team in the league right now. The Cavaliers are unlikely to have major problems at home against Orlando. We're betting on another success for J.B. Bickerstaff's team and on them showing their best defensive qualities.
