Cleveland Cavaliers vs Dallas Mavericks Prediction: This can be an intense games

NBA Regular Season has brought us some memorable battles and there are a lot of games left so plenty of action is yet to come. The Cavaliers enter the game after defeating the Pacers 118:112 as Donovan Mitchell collected 41 points to get on a two-game winning streak. The Cavs have won six of their nine games and have now gone up wto 19 wins and 11 losses. Donovan Mitchell is averaging around 30 points on an amazing 50% which makes a case for even the MVP award. Darius Garland is one of the best passers and a dependable scorer whereas Evan Mobley brings strong defense, rebounding, and serviceable offense. Apart from that, the rest of the unit is a tad inconsistent, so it will be interesting to see how the team responds when fatigue seeps in the starting unit.

Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks come into this affair after a scintillating 130:110 win against the Trail Blazers as Luka Doncic had 33 points and nine assists. They have two of their last three but if we extend the window, they have lost three of their five games. Mavs offense has been hit and go but there have been some welcoming signs this month. They have 15 wins and 14 losses which is a rather below-par return for a team that managed to storm into the Western Finals after beating the Suns, a team with the best Regular Season record last season. One of the major reasons why the Mavs aren’t a 55%-60% win team has been their inconsistent offense, especially at the Forward positions.

The Cavaliers and the Mavericks both played last night and won their games. However, playing at home, the Cavs will have a slight edge. The Mavs have struggled away from home and their numbers are down across the boards when they hit the board. The Cavs are raring for a winning streak as they haven’t hit one since the early season parts where they were just relentless. I do believe that they will build a streak here. I predict a scoreline of 114:109 in favor of the Cavs.
