The Hawks continue to be stormy, even with Dejounte Murray back in the lineup. The team has lost two of its last three games, although they had a relatively good stretch before that. There have been rumors recently about a possible trade of Trey Young, who isn't happy with the situation. Young should improve his offensive efficiency. Overall he was far from perfect on the season, and only thanks to many free throws did he not fall entirely off the floor. However, Trey was injured last game, and Clint Capela dropped out most recently.
In the absence of the big Swiss man, Atlanta lost to Indiana 114:129. Young hit well from beyond the arc, but his 5-of-15 from the game was still disappointing. Dejounte Murray didn't pull up where he needed to, and John Collins was the most productive for the Hawks with 26 points. It's hard to fault Bogdan Bogdanovic, but there are a lot of questions for the rest of the team.
Brooklyn
Kevin Durant is having his best stretch in Brooklyn. The team has nine wins and is 3rd in the East. The Nets' calendar could not be called easy, as the team has recently dealt with two top opponents - Milwaukee and Cleveland. Against the Cavaliers, the team excelled on offense in first place and ended up with a 125:117 win. Irving and Durant scored 32 points each, and T.J. Warren suddenly became the 3rd option on the attack, hitting 9 of 14 shots. Yuta Watanabe and Royce O'Neal also helped the team with 3-pointers, and Ben Simmons once again grabbed more rebounds and assists than points (4+9+8).
Expert Betting Tips
It's hard to say what could stop the current Brooklyn. The Nets are unstoppable offensively, and they still have decent defensive potential. Kevin Durant, Royce O'Neal, and Ben Simmons can work on their side if needed, while Atlanta has lost one of the league's best defensive big men. The Hawks play fast basketball, but the tempo will slow down with Young gone. That's more to the advantage of the opponent. The Nets won in their last face-to-face meeting. It's time to build on their success on the road.
