Finland vs Bahamas Prediction: The Finns will play more cooperatively

The Finns played good friendlies at the end of June, beating Latvia and New Zealand. By the way, they did it without their leader Lauri Markkanen, who won't be in Valencia either - the Utah forward has a shoulder injury. Sasu Salin didn't participate in those games either, but he should be in Spain.

The team expectedly topped the Latvians (90:84), and topped the New Zealanders (73:70). Both games were low-scoring - 17:14 and 17:13.

The Finnish national team has twice lost to their opponents in terms of two-point shooting. The Finns' game relies heavily on long-range attacks, and they attacked as much (or even more often) from the perimeter than they did from shorter distances.

Bahamas

In contrast, the islanders have lost twice in friendly games - to Greece and even to Montenegro. Both times they missed a million to the sky - 102 and 93 points respectively.

Nevertheless, bookmakers consider the Bahamians favourites - they have some very solid and quality NBA players in their line-up, notably Deandre Ayton, Eric Gordon and Buddy Hield. There's also Isaiah Mobley and Ky Jones, but it's hard to say what the latter can do at this point other than write on social media about his brilliance.
