Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Seattle Seahawks.
Stadium: Heinz (Pittsburgh).
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks will meet in the Sunday Night Football series in Week 6. Both teams are not without their problems in the new season. So the head-to-head meeting is a great opportunity to improve the stats. Who will do better? Let’s pick a few options to bet on at once.
Pittsburgh picked up a crucial win
The Steelers started the 2021 championship with a fine away win over the Buffalo Bills but then lost three games in a row. Such a series of failures, of course, could not help but affect the psychological state of the team. All the more valuable was their success in Week 5. Pittsburgh defeated the Denver Broncos 27-19 on their home field.
Finally, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had a successful game. The 39-year-old playmaker, whose participation in the game was questionable, threw for two touchdowns for 253 yards on the pass and did so without an interception. Chase Claypool and Dontae Johnson each scored a touchdown on a reception. Maybe Pittsburgh can do better now.
Seattle could be done for the season
Last week’s game against the Los Angeles Rams not only did the Seahawks not feel good about losing, but it also effectively shut down their future playmaking options. Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson suffered a nasty hamstring tear in his right middle finger. The playmaker will miss a few weeks, and the Seahawks can prepare quietly for another championship.
The starting quarterback for the coming weeks will be Geno Smith, the 39th pick of the 2013 draft. Smith has a total of 42 games - 30 touchdowns to 37 interceptions - in his seven seasons in the NFL. Entering as a substitute in the game against the Rams, Smith made his second appearance in a Seattle uniform. He threw for 131 yards on a pass and managed both a touchdown and an interception.
Expert Betting Tips
It looks like Seattle don’t stand a chance in the upcoming game. Pittsburgh’s defense is so good that it could stop Russell Wilson, and the backup will have no trouble handling it. On the other hand, the Seahawks’ defense is problematic, so the Steelers’ offense will have plenty of chances to prove itself even if it’s unsure.
We predict that Pittsburgh will pick up their second consecutive win in a low-productive game.
