Jacksonville Jaguars vs Miami Dolphins.
Stadium: Tottenham Hotspur (London).
Week 6 of the NFL regular season will continue the tradition of Week 5, with Sunday’s game kicking off in London. Jacksonville will play Miami at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. We have a few bets on this match at once.
Will Jacksonville win at least one game?
So far, Trevor Lawrence, the first pick of the last draft, has five losses in five games. The quarterback has eight interceptions, only six passing touchdowns, eight sacks, and only 59% completion. Lawrence’s adjustment process to professional sports has been delayed.
However, you certainly shouldn’t pin all the blame on the young quarterback. The Jaguars do have a weak roster. Not a single player from the first round of the draft is on the offensive line. And as for the defence, Jacksonville are even worse than the offense, averaging 30.8 conceded points per game. That’s the 30th best in the NFL right now.
Miami are a little better
The only difference between the Dolphins and the Jaguars is that the Floridians have one win. The Dolphins outscored the New England Patriots 17-16 in Week 1. After that, it’s been a straight-up loss.
While Jacksonville are working with a new quarterback this season, the Dolphins started last season. Tua Tagovailoa is the only lefty in the NFL. So far, though, the interesting project isn’t turning out to be particularly effective. Tua has played two incomplete games in the current league, thrown one touchdown, and threw one interception.
Miami’s starting quarterback, meanwhile, is still Jacoby Brissett. He certainly plays awful - 4 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, only 858 yards passing, and as many as 12 sacks.
Expert Betting Tips
It’s unclear why the bookmakers think Miami are favourite for the upcoming match. The Dolphins are no better than today’s Jacksonville. They are just as awful. And, after all, when else would Trevor Lawrence be getting the first win of his professional career? Plus, Tua is injured, and Brissett’s participation in the game is questionable. Miami will probably have an even lower quality quarterback than in the games before this one.
