Baltimore Ravens vs Indianapolis Colts.
M&T Bank (Baltimore).
The next round of the NFL Championship will traditionally conclude with the Monday Night Football series. This time, the honour of closing out the week fell to the Baltimore Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts. Who will win? Let’s pick a few bets at once for the final meeting of Week 5 of the NFL regular season.
Baltimore are committed to themselves
The Ravens are one of the strongest and most consistent teams of recent seasons. So far, though, the Ravens’ success has been limited solely to the regular season. Three previous seasons ended with a loss in the divisional round and two departures in the wild-card round - the last two already with quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Baltimore’s head coach is John Harbaugh, who has held his position since 2008. Harbaugh has a 2012 Super Bowl and numerous playoff appearances to his credit. So, the faith in the coach is not surprising. There’s reason to believe that with Lamar, one of the most exciting quarterbacks of our time, Harbaugh will eventually get his way, too.
Baltimore are off to a traditionally great start to the 2021 season with three wins and one loss, with only an overtime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1.
Indianapolis continue their search
The Colts are in their 4th season under coach Frank Reich. And the 4th season begins with a new quarterback. For the 2021 season, the Colts believed in Carson Wentz, who hasn’t looked great in recent years with Philadelphia. He is so far so good on the new team, too, with only 920 yards and five touchdowns to 1 interception in 4 meetings.
Another significant change for Indianapolis was the change in offensive coordinator. Nick Sirianni, who went to coach the same Philadelphia, was replaced by Marcus Brady, the former Colts quarterbacks coach.
In the new championship, Indianapolis have three losses and only one win - in Week 4 over Miami.
Expert Betting Tips
Baltimore play drawn-out slow football with a lot of takeaways on offense. However, the team rarely fails on defense, especially against average quarterbacks like Carson Wentz. It will almost certainly be business as usual in the upcoming match, with Baltimore winning the low-scoring game. The Colts will struggle to gain anything at all.
