This Monday we will see some very exciting and important matches in the Africa Cup of Nations and Asian Cup. In the Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria will face Guinea Bissau and try to win to avoid drama and qualify for the knockout phase. Egypt will have to play and win under huge pressure against the superior Cape Verde who are already qualified for the knockout phase. Unfortunately, they will have to do it without the biggest star Salah. In Asia it’s as entertaining as it is in Africa, Qatar who are already in the next phase will play against China who needs a win to qualify for the knockout phase.

Guinea Bissau lost the first two matches in Group A, and now they will need a true miracle to finish at least 3rd and proceed as one of the best 3-placed teams. Nigeria on the other hand, after the shock in the first match, and playing only a draw against Equatorial Guinea, won in the second round in the derby match against Ivory Coast 1:0. They are in a good position, and it’s expected of them to win this match easily and finish most likely on the 1st place in the group. Zaidi Sanusi will miss this match due to an injury, Alhassan Yusuf is back in the squad after a minor injury in the first match.

Egypt are considered one of the favorites for winning this competition, but they don’t prove that they have enough quality to go to the very end of the tournament. In the 3rd round, they will play against the best team in Group B and the most pleasant surprise of the competition Cape Verde. The calculations are easy, Egypt must win to qualify for the next round. They will be without Salah who is injured, but Cape Verde are already qualified as 1st placed team in the group, so their manager Leitao Brito will rest some of the players in this match.
