The end of February is approaching, and we are slowly entering the final part of the current football season. Of course, there is still a lot to play for, but in many leagues, champions are already visible. This Tuesday we are entering into the final stages of the FA Cup, as the matches of the 1/8 final are on the schedule. We will see a duel between two Premier League teams, Luton and Manchester City, and matches between some old rivals as Blackburn against Newcastle and Bournemouth versus Leicester.

Luton Town: L-L-L-D-W
Manchester City: W-W-D-W-W
Luton Town will meet Manchester City in the 5th round of the FA Cup. Luton are on a run of three consecutive defeats and four games without a win. January was fantastic for them, but February has been bad so far. Manchester City beat Bournemouth on Saturday to remain in 2nd place, a point behind Liverpool and a point ahead of Arsenal. The Citizens have extended their unbeaten streak to 17 games in all competitions, and that streak began at the beginning of December. Pep is likely to rotate the team in this game as they play a big derby against Manchester United on Sunday. We expect Manchester City to win this match and qualify for the 6th round of the FA Cup. They are the defending champions and have a great chance to fight for the trophy here once again. Both managers will likely make some rotations, but even with that Manchester City are big favorites here.

Blackburn vs Newcastle (FA Cup)
Blackburn: D-D-D-L-W
Newcastle: L-D-W-D-W
Blackburn are struggling this season in the Championship. They are 16th in the table with 39 points and are just four points above the relegation zone. They recently changed managers, Jon Dahl Tomasson left the club and John Eustace replaced him. They are without a win in four games with Eustace. He has three draws and one loss as Blackburn manager. Newcastle suffered a defeat at the Emirates against Arsenal on Sunday, their first defeat in five games. They improved their form in the last month and started to play a lot better, but in that game Arsenal completely outplayed them. Six of Newcastle's last seven games have ended with BTTS and more than 3.5 goals. Blackburn are struggling and conceding an awful lot of goals. On the other hand, Newcastle conceded 13 goals in the last five games but also scored 13 in those five games. We think this game can bring a lot of goals and probably Newcastle is closer to winning and going to the next stage.

Bournemouth vs Leicester (FA Cup)
Bournemouth: L-D-L-D-D
Leicester: L-L-W-W-W
In the round of 16 of the FA Cup, Bournemouth will meet Leicester on Tuesday at 22:30 at the Vitality Stadium. They will go into the game with a five-game winless run, including a 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City in the league last Saturday. Leicester are focusing on securing a return to the Premier League, the Foxes know what it takes to win this competition, having famously lifted the trophy at the end of the 2020/21 season. Given that Bournemouth plays in a higher rank than Leicester, and at the same time they have the advantage of the home field, as well as a better ratio between them, we believe that the home team is closer to victory. However, the visiting team is in better shape, and we believe that they can at least score a goal. Therefore, our betting suggestion is a Bournemouth win or a draw, with both teams scoring.
