Argentina became the first team to book their place in the quarterfinal of this tournament after recording two wins in their first two games of Group A. They started this competition with a 2-0 victory over Canada before Martinez’s 88th-minute goal gave them another win over Chile in game 2. Lionel Scaloni may opt for fresh legs in this game and will likely give rest to some key players ahead of the knockout phase. Lionel Messi could be given a rest after tweaking his right hamstring against Chile. La Albiceleste sit top of Group A with six maximum points, scoring three goals and conceding 0.
Although Argentina may not be with some of their starting 11 here, yet they should have no problem getting a win here. Peru are not special in their attacks and only takes pride in their defence. Moreover, Peru haven’t beaten Argentina since 1997, and it is difficult to see them breaking that run here.

England vs Slovakia
England hope to put their recent performance behind them in this clash after picking up just one win on the group stage. They remain one of the favourites to win this tournament. Gareth Southgate will definitely change some of the players he relied on in the past, with Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer expected to impact the team going forward greatly. However, not minding their past draws, I will still give it to the Three Lions to finish the job.

Spain vs Georgia
Spain were the only team in the group stage to go flawlessly in all the three games. They recorded wins in all 3 games and kept clean sheets. La Roja have won their last 5 matches and their last 4 games against Georgia, scoring 16 goals. However, Georgia's last four defeats have all featured at least three goals and Spain have scored more than 1 goal against Georgia in their last 5 consecutive matches.
