Even though during this period the focus is on EURO 2024 and Copa America 2024, many teams throughout Europe have started their summer preparations and some of them have already played several friendly matches. This Thursday some of the most interesting matches are between Midtjylland and Aarhus, Strasbourg and Munchen 1860, and CSKA Moscow and OFK Beograd.

The Danish champion Midtjylland started their preparation early in the summer as they will play in the Champions League playoff. They already played one friendly match against another Danish team Sonderjyske and the result was 2:2. Aarhus were also part of the Championship group in Denmark's domestic league, but they didn’t qualify for any European competition. They played three friendlies so far, won 2, and drew once. They scored 12 and didn’t concede any goal in these three matches.

CSKA Moscow after another disappointing season in the Russian Premier League and finishing in 6th place, will certainly make several changes in the team before the start of the new season. They already played one friendly match and won 2:1. Against OFK Beograd they are certainly expecting much confident win. OFK Beograd are newly promoted team to the best Serbian League, and they are currently signing many players, or are negotiating with some. It will be a completely new team until the start of the season and it’s hard to say what they can do or what are their ambitions in the new season. Certainly avoiding relegation is primary.
