Atalanta vs Sturm Graz

Atalanta are one of those teams that still have their eyes set on finishing in the top 8 spots in the Champions League. They are currently 13th and can still make it to the top 8 if they continue their strong run. This is enough to motivate them to get an easy win over Sturm Graz, who are 29th on the Champions League table. The Austrian league leaders have suffered five defeats from their six games this season and won their only match against Girona. With this record and the poor run of the Austrian side against Italian teams, I expect another defeat for them in Bergamo.

Watford vs Preston North End

Watford are one of the best-performing teams at home this season but suffered their first two home losses of the season in their last two games at home. However, they bounced back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Derby County in their previous game and remain unbeaten in all but two home games this season. On the other hand, Preston North End got a goalless draw in their last match against Luton Town, all thanks to goalkeeper Freddie Woodman, who made four good saves to get the one point. Preston have now only lost one game in their previous six. However, while the hosts are enduring a tough run, the visitors are improving their defense to get the points they need. Moreover, at least a side has kept a clean sheet between these two sides in five of the last six games, and three of the previous five games between them ended goalless.

Atletico Madrid vs Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Atletico Madrid have been exceptional in the Champions League, winning each of their last three games, including a win over PSG. On the other hand, Bayer Leverkusen have not been performing badly either, winning their previous game over Inter Milan. Aside from the performance of both teams in the Champions League or in their respective leagues this season, they have both been involved in productive games. Bayer Leverkusen have scored two or more goals in 8 of their past 10 away matches, while Atletico Madrid scored 2+ goals in 4 of their last six home matches. With this, I expect goals from both teams.
