This Tuesday, we will be entertained by three entertaining matchups across Europe. Two will be anticipated cup games featuring Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-final, while in Italy, Inter Milan is matched against Lazio in the Coppa Italia. Last but not least, Celtic FC squares off against Aberdeen in the 28th round of the Scottish Premiership. So let's get into the predictions for these thrilling matches and win big!

Celtic vs. Aberdeen

Celtic FC have been in exceptional form in the Scottish Premiership this season. However, the table-toppers saw their momentum halted by a rare setback against Hibernian. They suffered a 2-1 away defeat over the weekend marking just their second loss in 27 league games.

Despite that setback, they still maintain a healthy 13-point lead atop the standings. Heading into this clash the Bhoys are currently on a nine-match winning streak at home.

Aberdeen are currently on a three-match winning streak across all competitions. Two of those wins have come in the Scottish Premiership with their most recent being a 1-0 home win against Kilmarnock.

The Dons' league performance has improved significantly. Recall, that the visitors were on a 14-match unbeaten run recording ten losses and four draws.

Celtic enter this match hoping to get back to winning ways. Their chances of doing so are very high against a side that was once on a 14-match winless run in the league. The home team can win here and by a big margin too which is why I'm expecting them to score an individual total of over 2.5 goals when all is said and done.

Inter Milan vs. Lazio

Inter Milan currently leads the Serie A table with a one-point cushion. Their recent form in the league has left much to be desired. They have won just two of their last five league games (D1, L2) and head into this match off the back of a narrow 1-0 home league win against Genoa over the weekend.

In the Coppa Italia they beat Udinese 2-0 at home to book their place in the quarterfinal. Gone are the days when I Nerazzurri won consecutive titles during 2022 and 2023. In the previous edition, they were eliminated in the last 16 by Bologna, losing 2-1 in extra-time.

Lazio heads into this clash brimming with confidence. The visitors have avoided defeat in their last four matches in the Serie A recording two wins and two draws. Their latest league match saw them being held to a goalless draw against Venezia extending their draw streak to two matches.

I Biancocelesti had no trouble seeing off the threat of Napoli in a comfortable 3-1 home victory in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia courtesy of a Tijjani Noslin hat trick.

Inter Milan has not been performing well in the league but that does not mean they won't win here. Taking into account the visitors' poor away form in this competition where they are currently on a five-match losing streak there's no reason for us to doubt an Inter Milan win in the full-time market.

Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid

Barcelona has been in exceptional form. The Catalan giants recently beat Las Palmas 2-0 on the road in La Liga. This marked their fifth league win with three clean sheets preserved during this period.

However, it's worth mentioning that they have avoided defeat in 14 matches across all competitions, recording 11 wins and three draws. One of those wins was a 5-0 away thrashing of Valencia in the Copa Del Rey quarterfinals.

Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, has also been in good form as of late. However, the team from Madrid has only managed two wins in their last six league games (D3, L1).

Their most recent, a 3-0 away win against Valencia over the weekend saw them maintain a one-point lead over the leading pack in the La Liga standings. The Rojiblancos booked their spot in this round's competition courtesy of a commanding 5-0 home victory over Getafe.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have met once this season. That meeting was in the league and the visitors emerged 2-1 victors on the road. I'm not saying we can expect a similar result in this one but I'm certain that this could turn out to be an entertaining affair. That said, I'm backing both sides to get on the scoreboard in this one.
