The customer service is just pathetic. No comments... really... Just want to deactivate my account and I can´t because always they transfer me to an agent and everytime the proccess starts from the beggining.

Only online chat available, no telephone number to call or email to write to. Refused to give any explanation or reasoning or to engage in any way, and after 2 hours of online chat reluctantly agreed funds sitting on exchange could be returned in due course and could not be cashed out even though the markets are in-running so i'm left exposed with no ability to change my mind at any point with a five figure exposure! Would not give details of any escalation process and said decision was final. Suggest others write to IBAS about Betfair with similar issues and follow the 'call to evidence' in the Gambling Act review the government are just publishing, it's clear from the comments on here there is a big issue with how Betfair treat their customers.

Just tried to sign up, sat down spent some of my life filling in the form online. Right at the end after spending 10 minutes filling the form a pop up said something like 'we have to know this is you' then the screen just went blank! wasted more of life waiting to see if something was loading up but nothing happened. Just a little bit fed of websites not working properly in this modern age.

@Betfair is there a problem with the app depositing money.

What has happened to them? I have held my account for 12 years, never had any issues. I have bet over £100,000 with them in that time period and am a priority customer. The way that I have been treated is disgusting. They suspended my account and told me that I had to send in a copy of my passport, bank statements and payslips. I was fine with the first two things but I do not work anymore, I am retired and, therefore, cannot provide them with payslips. I have tried to speak to people, tried to email, tried to chat and the responses that I have gotten are simply shocking. I have been told that they "don't know" what documentation someone in my position can provide. I have tried to escalate the issue, taking up hours of my time, but to no avail. I have been unable to speak to a manager at all, apparently they don't deal with the public, and most of the time I don't even get a response from them. If that's how they treat priority customers then heaven knows how they treat their regular customers! I have been to Cheltenham in the Betfair box, I had a great relationship with them, but now they won't even give me the time of day. So, if you are a serious punter looking for a genuine place to bet where you are treated correctly, DO NOT CHOOSE BETFAIR!

i want to give you 0 stars.. Betfair is very big rubbish, i started betting with them and will never bet again never, i had 400$ that i wanted to withdraw and did all the procedure through wire transfer, after 2 days money came back on betfair account, i contact customer service they told me check with your bank, i tried to withdraw again and same story, i contact customer service same answer. Third time i tried to withdraw money same story i contact customer service same answer check with your bank. That was my 3rd time going to bank and the staff in the bank was upset on me i am asking them every 2nd day what's wrong with your bank i can't receive money. The lady she called me in the office opened my account on her computer and show me on the screen and ask me which transaction, you don't have any transactions. I was look like i am retarted or the biggest fool in the world annoying the staff there for my 400$ withdrawal every second day which betfair never did any transaction. after that with the bank i contacted betfair immediately and asked W-T-F is wrong with them and told me wait i transfer you to another agent i waiting 1 hour i got upset i bet all the 400$ which i can't withdraw lost them all and never bet again with them. GARBAGE. lowest odds from all sites. i wish you all the worst and hope you bankrupct soon. Reminder for people do not bet with this cheaters. Horrible customer service. Minimum free spins no matter how much you play and even when I’m getting free spins I can’t use them because it says I have other active bonuses. As if it affects each other if I win free spins on a promo. And when I try to contact customer service it’s impossible.
