I had been using Bet365 for years and yesterday I placed a bet on a football game and it lost, to me it looked like the game was “fixed” as there were over 76 shots, it ended 0-0 and looking at the stats in the game it looked clear that the game wasn’t quite right. In my frustration, I messaged Bet365 and asked them why was this game ever allowed on their site in the first place, explaining that I am upset that I have lost my money due to this. I then got a reply to say that've suspended my account due to them being concerned over my well being! So I quickly messaged Bet365, and they were absolutely convinced that I had some gambling addiction only because I used the words “frustrated” and “Upset” so apparently these words were concerning to them and thought I need to take some time away, I reassured them more than 20 times in a lengthy hour and half conversation that there is nothing to worry about. I enjoy betting and I don’t have a problem, I am just showing a natural human emotion. I spoke to someone else later on in the day, she instructed that I must self exclude myself from the site and think about my actions before betting. So I went on to say that no I don’t agree with you and I don’t feel I need to self exclude myself? She then said are you saying no to self exclusion, I said yes. So she said well in that case we’re closing your account! So I was like what? I said well if it’s that severe then what options do I have for this self exclusion? (Trying to avoid having my account completely closed) she then messaged and said sorry it’s too late, you said no so I am closing your account, call this number because you need to. Then before I could even respond she left the chat and closed my account. I was like, are you serious? If I am being honest I do tend to win a lot of money on the site, I am good at building my bank roll up, so personally I think they’ve noticed my betting habits and wanted my account banned for winning too much money. I have had running’s with them over the years for them not paying out when they should’ve, so this doesn’t come as a surprise. Pick another bookie guys, this one will have you at some point in time.
