Emerging Spanish star Paula Badosa and veteran Belarusian Victoria Azarenka will meet for the title game for the WTA BNP Paribas Indian Wells Open. This is Badosa’s maiden trip to a WTA 1000 Final.
Victoria Azarenka comes into the game after winning five games in a row including a tough three-set battle versus Jelena Ostapenko. Earlier, Azarenka also knocked out seventh-seeded Petra Kvitova.
Meanwhile, Paula Badosa has fought some tough battles to reach this stage. She has beaten in-form Ons Jabeur, third-seeded Barbora Krejcikova, and tenth-seeded Angelique Kerber in three of the five games she has won.
