In the Asia Men’s Volleyball Championship, Australia produced an amazing comeback effort to stun the three-time champion in China. The game went to five sets and the scoreline read 25-27, 20-25, 25-21, 28-26, 15-12. This is a major win for Australia as they advance to the top eight along with China.
Thomas Edgar became the star of the show after notching game-high 27 points on 25 attacks. Australia swept Pool C while China accumulated two losses and one win bouncing out Qatar and Japan. The host Japan and Qatar are going to join six other teams now for the 9-16 Classification.
