New details of the fight between former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor and rapper Machine Gun Kelly, which occurred at the MTV Video Music Awards, became public.
According to Extra’s source, the musician did not like the fact that McGregor was allegedly sending DMs to his girlfriend, famous actress Megan Fox, who also attended the event. The rapper pushed Conor, causing him to drop his cane and spill his whiskey. McGregor tried to lash out at MGK, but he was pushed aside by security.
Conor McGregor had his last fight on the night of July 11 at UFC 264. In the main event, Conor was defeated by TKO in his third fight against Dustin Poirier, breaking his leg at the end of the first round.
McGregor and Poirier met for the first time on September 27, 2014, at UFC 178. The Irishman won by TKO in the first round. The second fight took place on January 23, 2021, at the UFC 257 tournament. Dustin confidently took his revenge by TKO in the second round.
