Estonian Anett Kontaveit barges into the Finals of the Transylvania Open after a 6-3, 6-2 win over Rebecca Peterson.
Kontaveit had a stellar outing, nailing 7 aces while Peterson committed 5 double-faults. Anett also won four out of six breakpoints, while Peterson won her sole breakpoint attempt. Kontaveit’s first serve win % read 77 while her second serve percentage also turned out to be a stellar 75%. Kontaveit had a 23-13 receiving points edge and a 35-24 service points edge. The Estonian will now meet the winner between the Simona Halep and Marta Kostyuk battle.
