Australian opening batter Will Pucovski is perhaps going to miss the first Ashes Test between England and Australia. Pucovski suffered a concussion after getting hit with a bouncer in the nets practice and this is the tenth time since his teenage years that he has suffered a concussion. Looking at the situation, Victoria’s coach Chris Rogers has suggested holding Will back for a further duration. The First Test is still more than a month away but the concussion symptoms are still persisting for young Will.
Will Pucovski
It's no doubt a setback. I'd say now it's unlikely he will play in the first Tes. All the people in these conversations understand we have an immense talent on our hands. We want him playing in three, five, 10 years so these are the decisions we are going make in his best interests and hopefully, we can set him up to have a long career.
