An unstoppable Anett Kontaveit stormed into the SemiFinals of the WTA Finals after securing her first-ever victory over Czechia’s Karolina Pliskova.
The Estonian took the first 6-4 and to continue her superb rhythm, won the set 6-0. Anett had 34-24 service points and 22-12 receiving points edge over her opponent. She also claimed four of six breakpoints whereas Karolina had zero out of three. Her win% on the first serve tallied 80% and on second serve 77% in another stellar showing. Anett has now clinched 12 wins in a row over the course of a month or so. Is she the favorite for the WTA Finals title now?
