The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has officially announced the final list of participants for the WTA Finals 2024, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 2 to 9.
Among the players participating are Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jasmine Paolini, Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula, Zheng Qinwen, and Barbora Krejcikova.
For Krejcikova and Rybakina, this is their second qualification for the finals, while it is the first for Zheng and Paolini in their careers.
It is worth noting that the defending champion of the tournament is Swiatek, who defeated Pegula in last year's final with a score of 6-1, 6-0.
Previously, Sabalenka secured her third victory at the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan, China, mimicking the achievement of American tennis player Serena Williams. Additionally, Swiatek announced on her social media that Tomasz Wiktorowski is no longer her personal coach.
