Tsitsipas Unexpectedly Eliminated in First Round of Australian Open

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas faced an unexpected defeat in the first round of the Australian Open, losing to American Alex Michelsen in four sets.

The match lasted for two hours and 43 minutes, ending with a score of 7:5, 6:3, 2:6, 6:4 in favor of the American.

Tsitsipas recorded 13 aces but made two double faults. Michelsen achieved seven aces and made seven double faults during the match.

In the next round, Michelsen will compete against the winner of the match between James Mackay and Martin Landaluce-Lacambra.
