World number one, Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek defeated Italy's representative Jasmine Paolini (15) in the final of the French Open (Roland Garros).
The athletes spent one hour and nine minutes on the Philippe-Chatrier court.
The Polish tennis player converted five out of nine breakpoints (56%) and did not commit a single double fault. Paolini made two double faults and managed to convert one break point out of one earned (100%). Both players also served an ace each.
Iga Swiatek clinched her fourth Roland Garros title in her career, having previously won it in 2020, 2022, and 2023.
Additionally, the representative of Poland claimed her fifth title of the season.
