Sinner Reflects on His Suspension: It Could Have Been Worse

Italian player Jannik Sinner, currently the world's top-ranked tennis player, shared his reaction to his three-month suspension for violating anti-doping rules in the spring of 2024.

He stated that he feels alright despite the swift decision about a three-months suspension, which he did not completely agree with.

Jannik Sinner for Sky Sports
In the end, you have to choose the lesser evil and I believe that is what I have done. Even if sometimes it seems a bit unfair, all that I’m living, but then if I look at things from a different perspective it could have been worse.

He mentioned that he still needs to "digest" what happened, but he is looking forward to returning to the court in Rome, even though he understands it won’t be easy due to extra attention.
