Sinner Disappointed With Loss To Alcaraz In Roland Garros Semi-Finals

The world's second-ranked player from Italy Jannik Sinner commented on his defeat in the semifinals of the French Open against Spain's Carlos Alcaraz during a press conference.

The Italian tennis player lost to Alcaraz with a score of 6:2, 3:6, 6:3, 4:6, 3:6, ending his tournament run. Alcaraz will face Germany's Alexander Zverev in the final.

I think it was a great match. For sure the sets he won he played better in the important points. Obviously disappointed how it ended, but it's part of my growing and the process.

It was previously announced that the Italian will take the top spot in the ATP rankings, as the current leader, Serbian Novak Djokovic, withdrew from his last match at Roland Garros due to a torn meniscus in his right knee.
