Former world number one Yevgeny Kafelnikov commented on the possible decision to admit Russian tennis players in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
On March 6, it was announced that the International Tennis Federation (ITF) had allowed Russians to compete at the Olympics in Paris. Athletes were permitted to play there in a neutral status in singles and doubles events.

I expected that Russian tennis players would be allowed to participate in the Olympic Games. I feel good about it, but I don’t want to make any further comments.
The XXXIII Summer Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11 in Paris.
