According to The Times, tennis player Emma Raducanu has been provided with enhanced security of five guards during her participation in the WTA-1000 tournament in Indian Wells, USA.
The source reveals that one of Raducanu's team members stated that the British athlete intends to participate in the tournament and is considering taking the offered protection.
Earlier, on February 17, Raducanu faced unwanted attention from a man in a public place. The following day, this same man appeared at her match against Karolina Muchova (6:7 (6:8), 4:6), which brought her to tears.
The athlete's coach reported that this man had previously stalked her during trips to four different countries.
